H IS FOR HEALTH
There is an undeniable lack of education available regarding women's bodies. From our recent questionnaire we found 95% of respondents felt schools weren’t beneficial at teaching them about their bodies; as a consequence young girls and women are left unaware of health risks, both mental and physical.
At Chula, we provide skills-based workshops to allow our beneficiaries to share their stories, listen to guest speakers and build on their own understanding of their bodies. We want the young people we work with to have the knowledge and the language to empower themselves and their bodies.
